Arrival Day
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). Met by Evarest Adventures staff and transferred to an overnight hotel in Arusha or Karatu. This night is mandatory for an early start on Day 1.

Pick-up from your Arusha hotel, JRO, or ARK Airport by 7:30 AM. Drive straight to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). Tarangire Experience Full-day game drive focusing on the vast elephant population and searching for predators and general plains game. Picnic lunch inside the park. Exit the park late afternoon and drive to the Karatu area (Ngorongoro access town, approx. 2-3 hours). Check into your lodge/camp.

06:00 AM: Early descent into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full 6-hour game drive. Focus on spotting the Big Five, especially the endangered Black Rhino, and viewing high concentrations of wildlife in this unique setting. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor or near the gate. Ascend the crater rim and begin the drive back to Arusha. Drop-off will be at your hotel, Arusha Airport (ARK), or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for late afternoon/evening flights (recommended flight time after 7:00 PM).
