Arrival Day (Pre-Trek)
Arrive at JRO or ARK Airport. Met by Evarest Adventures and transferred to a hotel in Arusha or Moshi. Briefing with your guide, gear check, and preparation for the early morning star.

Ascent: 1,500m to 2,514m. Registration and start of the trek with an armed ranger. The path is a genuine walking safari through the lower forest, offering chances to see buffalo, giraffe, warthog, and various monkeys.

Ascent: 2,514m to 3,570m. A steep but shorter day through the moorland zone. Acclimatization: In the afternoon, optional trek to the summit of Little Meru (3,820m) before returning to Saddle Hut for an early dinner and rest.

SUMMIT DAY: Start the ascent around 1:00 AM. Scramble along a narrow ridge to reach Socialist Peak (4,566m) at sunrise. Witness panoramic views of the entire region, including Mt. Kilimanjaro. Long descent back to Saddle Hut, and continue down to Miriakamba Hut.
